Summer update on 2027 California guard Kori Rogers

Summer Update - ‘27 Kori Rogers

July 10, 2024 | Kori Rogers

We caught up with fast-rising, class of 2027 California guard Kori Rogers on her goals for the summer, and an update on her current recruiting stage. Still multiple years away from stepping foot on a college campus, Rogers is in the earlier stage of her process and we wanted to get an insight into where things are headed. She will be playing with Jason Kidd Select on the Power 24 circuit this summer, and is ranked as the No. 18 prospect in the latest ESPN Hoopgurlz Terrific 25.

HR: How would you describe your game when everything is clicking?

KR: I describe my game as not only being a three-level scorer, but being able to make plays for my teammates on the offensive end. I pride myself on defense and locking in on that end of the court. I see myself as a full-impact player.

HR: What’s your recruitment looking like, and what’re you looking for in a school at the next level?

KR: So far my recruiting is going really well, I have offers from UCLA, California, Louisville, Michigan, Florida State, Florida, Mississippi State, Arizona, Arizona State, and Utah. What I'm looking for in school is a school that I can help and grow as a player.

HR: What’re your main goals for July and the summer as a whole?

My goal in July is to get better and stronger for next season at St. Mary’s High School.

It’s early in the process, but Kori is quickly gaining recognition as one of the top players in the country at her position. Colleges are clearly taking notice as she’s earned offers from top programs in the Big Ten, ACC, SEC, and Big 12.
