Providence Day Super Scrimmage
2028 Emma Fuller of Providence High School.
Year after year this event keeps rolling along!
Nov 13, 2025
In its 18th year, the Providence Day Super Scrimmage continues to attract some of the top high school teams (public, private and academy) in North Carolina. As usual, the event was staged on a pre-season Saturday (November 1, 2025) on the campus of Providence Day School in Charlotte, North Carolina. A total of 28 teams played two or three running-clock scrimmages on one of the school’s three courts. There were multiple interesting matchups between teams that normally never meet in real games.
Lots of college attendance
A total of 38 colleges (some sent two coaches) from NCAA Divisions 1, 2 and 3 plus NAIA colleges were in attendance. There was talent for all levels at this event!
Scrimmages are not games
Some coaches go all-out to win these mini contests. Others use them for testing out different lineups. Bottom line should be to not read too much into this as if in the regular season.
Again, players were usually seen only once so take what is below as a place to start rather than a final evaluation!
Players below are listed within graduation class alphabetically with posted height and position along with school/state location information (and home state if different) in parenthesis.
2026
Miley Malcolm, 6-1, forward (Porter Ridge High School; NC)
A Drexel commit, Malcolm has a nice perimeter stroke to even beyond the arc but must strengthen some to deal with D1 college physicality.
Kelsey Rhyne, 5-10, shooting guard (Lake Norman High School; NC)
A Navy commit, Ryne is a quality three-point shooter but will also pass to open teammates.
2026 Autumn Washington.
Autumn Washington, 5-10, small forward (Ardrey Kell High School; NC)
Unsigned and recently back from A.C.L. surgery, Washington is a high quality, major D1 athlete who has nice stroke form; must score on a higher percentage of shots taken than in two observed scrimmages to succeed at that level.
2027
Amayah Barnes, 5-8, guard (NC GBB Academy National; NC)
Quick on D, Barnes impressed with her ability to attack the defense and kick out to open shooters.
2027 Madison Drayton.
Madison Drayton, 5-11, guard (Cannon School; NC)
Drayton impressed with her ability to shoot inside and beyond the arc plus showing a willingness to attack the rim; still needs to get physically stronger.
Ginny Anne Dumont, 5-11, wing (Providence Day School; NC)
Dumont is light on her feet, passes well and can get to the rim. Starting to get P4 offers, improving consistency of shooting range might be something to work on.
Tamia Dyson, 5-8, guard (Norfolk Christian High School; VA)
Active at both ends, Dyson showed nice variety in her offense driving and hitting the three.
Lamyiah Jarrett, 5-7, shooting guard (Finest Basketball Cresset – National; NC)
Above average athletically, Jarrett plays with good energy and can get to the rim.
Khloe Joyner, 6-2, small forward (McDowell High School; NC)
Adequate athletically, Joyner has above average size for a perimeter player showing nice driving ability and a willingness to pass.
Keira Kilkenny, 5-11, wing (Norfolk Christian High School; VA)
With decent perimeter size, Kilkenny showed she can work her way into the key (sometimes using a spin move) to score.
Marie Poiraud, 6-4, center (Grace Christian – Sanford; NC)
Recently arrived from France, Poiraud moves well but is still developing skill-wise (at least as far as the American game is concerned).
Ashanti Taylor, 5-10, point guard (Porter Ridge High School; NC)
Strongly built but mobile, Taylor is a field general with size. Reportedly has mid D1 offers with range being one area that could improve to garner more Power 4 interest.
2028
Justice Alexander, 6-1, forward (Concord Academy; NC)
Above average athletically, Alexander has above average handles for her size looking to attack the rim sometimes incorporating a spin move.
Victorian Collins, 6-3, power forward (Concord Academy; NC)
Long in build, Collins is above average athletically with skills still developing.
Kyndoll English, 6-3, post (Grace Christian – Sanford; NC)
Physically strong, English has game in lower key able to block shots; scoring is in lower paint; major D1 upside.
Emma Fuller, 6-4, center (Providence High School; NC)
Adequately mobile, Fuller has good hands able to finish in traffic in lower key. She also showed a mid-range stroke. Offers are from Power 4 and down.
2029
Sara Beth Bradley, 5-8, shooting guard (East Burke High School; NC)
Strong bodied, poised but a bit fearless; willing to attack. Top priority might be building shooting range.
Cooper Cox, 5-8, shooting guard (Grace Christian – Sanford; NC)
Moves well without the ball seeming knowing where to be when. Showed the three and attacking ability.
Sidney Harris, 5-10, shooting guard (Porter Ridge High School; NC)
Strong bodied, showing above average power to attack rim. Should work to build range.
Brianna Norman, 5-5, point guard (Norfolk Christian High School; VA)
Lead guard with good basketball IQ and advanced handles for age. Appeared looking more to drive than shoot over opponents.
2030
Samira Faruk, 6-3, center (Finest Basketball Cresset – National/NC)
Strong bodied; moves well with skills early in development.
RiRi Minor, 5-9, guard (Finest Basketball Cresset - National; NC/GA)
Athletic with advanced understanding for age; showed ability to shoot jumper off bounce.
