Top prospects, top coaches, and pure development and competition. Wootten 150 was back in Vegas, which meant the top high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors were in town.

Of the 73 players in attendance, 65 of them are ranked in the ESPNW top 100. Not to mention, 17 different power-four programs and one recent Ivy League school had a commitment present this weekend.

Session Leadership breaks down the structure and expectations of the Wootten 150.

On the court working with the girls, a slew of coaches from across the country, including, Lyric Knight (Coronado High School), Michael Holloway (Southwest Dekalb High School), Sheryl Krmpotich (Bishop Gorman High School), Riki Murakami (Centennial High School), Breanna Workman (Centennial High School), Michael Aduddell (FIBA Player Development Expert), Matt Shewmake (Montverde Academy), and Shannon Coyle (Long Branch High School). On the sideline watching the work is ESPNW and the McDonald’s All American Games Selection Committee.

Let’s be clear, this is not a showcase event, but an invite-only camp that is taking these athletes through it all—defensive rotations, ball-movement in the half court, transition-play, and all of it is brought center stage in five-on-five scrimmages.

There were many glimpses of picture-perfect basketball during Saturday’s morning session. A particular standout was USC commit Jasmine Davidson, who is currently ranked No. 3 in the 2025 class. A lefty combo guard, who has no trouble seeing the floor and making a play, is immediately noticeable. The combination of her skilled handle and height allows her to be a threat around the perimeter or in the paint.

Lara Somfai, currently at IMG by way of Australia, also had spectators focusing on her play. Agile and skilled, Somfai is comfortable making plays all over the floor. Currently at the No. 23 spot in the 2025 class, we could expect that to rise soon.

The sessions included FIBA 3X3 play and more 5 on 5. More to come from Wootten 150!
